Re: February Challenge
Tiz Lisa, but I really need a pee!! wink wink and a kiln would be good too.
did yo get that rust off? not sure what 2in1 is that Tinks mentioned, but if it's the same as W.D. 40, then that'll work and it keeps them rust free to, just give them a good wipe before using and make sure, when you solder their isn't any on the item you're soldering. But then that said, we all have oil on our skin and touch the solder when we cut it and I've never had a problem......

Re: February Challenge
Not heard of the 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 (can't remember which) either Batty. I had thought they would have been ok as I'd rubbed them all with Renaissance wax at the start of winter but my shed's so leaky and damp.

Re: February Challenge
3 in 1 is a lighjtweight lubricating oil especially brilliant for household and workshop use. Hinges, tools, squeaky things (not yer shoes tho) etc. It comes in little red, white and black cans with a pointy applicator do dah on top.
WD40 is a lighter weight oil in a spray can which serves the same purpose but is mostly used as a freeing agent because it's in an aerosol and mixed with a propellant gas.
I'm guessing that WD40 is too lightweight for the winter damp due to it's very fine nature. And I know sweet fanny adams about renaissance wax, sorry.
Give everything a good rub down with a cloth soaked in 3 in 1 next winter. (Even your hubby ). It'll keep everything rust free.

Japanese chainmaille bracelet with Swarovski crystals in two shades of red. I made this last year, but it fits the brief, so am posting it anyway. I'm not eligible to win this month so it probably doesn't matter. Just showing off
Re: February Challenge

Here's my entry at the 11th hour.
Sterling silver frame surrounding a ruby red dichroic glass cab made by yours truly.
Think it fits the theme ok and its sort of petal shape as well.

Re: February Challenge
Another stunner from Lynne. I love those deceptively simple frames, exactly the sort of jewellery that I would wear myself.
