February Challenge
Well that went quick didn't it, so here we are again a new challenge for you. I did think of doing Valentines but that is just too easy so I thought this month I would pick a colour and see what you all come up with.
Also this month there will be a Prize, provided by our Lisa, thank you Lisa.
I'll be looking forward to seeing what you will create.

Phwoargh!! Ooh I love that dhalia, I love pics of them close up - and a Priiiiiiiiiize, yippeeeeee :-) Lisa thank you so much for donating this month's prize, it's much appreciated and the recipient will be thrilled to receive it, I just know it. Thinking caps girls and boys, cool prize at stake!
Re: February Challenge
Fabulous mood board, particularly the eye.
The thinking cap is on ... it is keeping my head and ears warm, which is handy at the moment!
Red? Oh dear, I don't think I have got a single red bead, thread or piece of wire in my stash!

Re: February Challenge
Mmmmm, Red. LOVELY. That means we can do Valentine's too if we want to. Good choice of theme Vic.
Re: February Challenge
You're welcome guys, I think it will need to be a red book for the prize then.
That mood board is stunning Cornish, you could hang it up like a piece of art.
Mmm interesting and I thought I'd up and running with all my heart thingies, red................................mmm

Re: February Challenge
Great ruby goddess bead Cornish. Very sumtuous.
Lovely red beads Lakelady. Are you going to make those a necklace or bracelt. I see you have the findings in the photo ready for assembly.

Re: February Challenge
My entry for February's challenge. It combines the theme, Red AND Valentine. Yay!

Oo, I forgot to say; the beads are Mooch's, called J'Taime. I got them from her over a year ago and knew straight away they had to be made into something with a Valentine theme. It took me a long time but I got round to it in time for this Valentine's.

Re: February Challenge
OOPS! Sorry Lakelady. I thought it was the stringing and bits n bobs. My laptop has a tiny screen so I obviously haven't looked closely enough and thought that you were showing us the lovely red beads you'd made
Re: February Challenge
These are all gorgeous ladies!
I had the perfect necklace for this but it's my entry for the JMOY comp so I can't put it on boo hoo!

Re: February Challenge
Oh Batty, I wish I COULD make them myself. I don't have the time, patience or skill yet. Nor the confidence to get stuck in and try. I bought them. I buy all my findings and beads but make the viking knit myself and then string them together in various ways. I think these ones were purchased on eBay from someone clearing their stock of semi precious stones and karen hill silver. He's only selling his own finished pieces now, shame, I got some beautiful briolettes from him too
Re: February Challenge
There are some very beautiful and skillful entries this month. I am afraid mine is a rather simple charm bracelet. As you can see from the photos I am having fun with my new soapdish! The problem is that you can't turn it over because it is flat on the bottom.

Re: February Challenge
That's lovely Pru, it has a sort of romantic gothic feel to it, with the black as well.
