Re: November Challenge
I made something and you get two beads as I couldn't decide which I preferred.

Very hard to choose between them, Cornish because they are both just great!

Re: November Challenge
Well ditto all of the above! The second, "cherry blossom" is BEAUTIFUL. Perfect choice of colours for an oriental themed bead. Well done Cornish, it's a cracker
Re: November Challenge
The oriental theme should be right up my kumihimo street! I made this braid using ribbon yarn and very fine rattail. I had intended to finish off the ends neatly with cones and a clasp, but I loved the look of the ribbon showing so this can just be knotted at the back of the neck and the ribbon and cord will just hang down. I hope it is not too tickly! I haven't got a clue what the chinese characters mean ... any ideas?

I love those colours of ribbon together Pru, they go beautifully with the pendant.

Re: November Challenge
Thanks, Gillian. The cord is the easiest of the kumihimo braids. Using interesting yarns makes it look far more intricate than it is!

Re: November Challenge
Pru it is very lovely, as much as I would like to try kumihimo I think I'll leave it to experts like you.
Re: November Challenge
Thanks Cornish. I am more of an enthusiast than an expert!

Re: November Challenge
Lovely braid Pru, like the tails as an alternative finish. Beautiful ribbon yarn.
Re: November Challenge
Thanks Ashlynn. It is actually a knitting yarn, so metre for metre it is nice and cheap.

Re: November Challenge
Rather surprisingly, I managed to get organised enough to make something for this month's challenge, so here it is: an enamelled pendant with a pierced bamboo design.

I really love that pendant, Elaine. Great bamboo design. I bet that took some hard work.
