November Challenge
Well here we are another month over, didn't that go fast.
So to the November challenge I'm sort of being nice as I'm giving you a choice between two, to be honest i just couldn't decide between them and I think they are very similar.
I'm looking forward to see what you will all come up with.
I'm going to get next months Mood board ready I think you will all guess what that will be.

Re: November Challenge
Oh love the two subjects and yes, definitely an overlap there. (Now who's going to be the first to say, "Oh no there isn't!")

I thought the first image was Cher Lloyd with her latest hairdo.....

Re: November Challenge
Wehey, nice one Cornish!!
Ok as a little treat, I'll let you all see this :- it was done for my friend whose nieces live in Spain and couldn't come to see us in January. The panto was Alice, I'm not Dum, and this needs no further explanation lol.

Re: November Challenge
There should be lots of scope with this one but inspiration hasn't hit me yet.............
Re: November Challenge
Well I hope this will help the creative juices. This month is another prize winning challenge, the prize will be some of my beads, and I may even add in a couple of those acorn beads.
Re: November Challenge
Here we go, lets get the 'show' on the road ...................
No Panto or Fairytail would be complete without a magic wand so here's my entry ..........
Magic Wand Earrings.
They are a bit OTT being 2inchs wide, but thats what panto and fairytails are all about - made in silver plate, with a crackle bead for their sparkly centre, all done free hand from a single strand of 1mm wire.

Re: November Challenge
Scruptious! And such even and tidy wirework I can see a poinsetta theme going on there too if there were colours in the leaves etc, very versatile design.
So come on you lot, who else is going to play?

Re: November Challenge
First of all I need to tell you that this bracelet is not my own design! A while ago I won a kit in a magazine giveaway and because at that time I wasn't really into seedies I didn't get round to making it. Since my friends in Oz have introduced me to the delights of seed beads I thought I would give it a go. I have to say it was very fiddly to make, but I think it is a pretty design and is definitely the sort of thing to be worn by elves and fairies. I learnt a lot in making it and I think that the leaves and berries could work in other sorts of jewellery.

Re: November Challenge
I'm so not going to get around to making something fresh at the moment so is it ok if I add something older?
I think this fits into the Fairytale area..reminds me of whichever film had the bluebirds carrying a flower necklace / daisychain to someone.. or a crown of flowers.

Two seedie entries in a row!
Bonnie, yours is lovely and definitely fits the theme perfectly.
Ashlynn, great magic wands and clever interpretation of the theme.
Come on everyone else!

Ooh I love all of these! Well done you lot.
Pru is that a kit from Spellbound Beads? I bought one at the big craft exhibition in Glasgow but haven't plucked up the courage to try it yet as Seedies and I don't usually get on.
I'm still waiting for inspiration to strike.......

Re: November Challenge
Thank you ladies, Tinker - Oh yeh .. poinsettia, I can also see snowflakes as well now.
Pru - very elven (hope that is a word), well done on attempting a new technique - looks good.
Bonnie - I love luctite flowers, very fairy inspired.

Re: November Challenge
Thanks for the kind comments. I will lap them up ... even though I have kind of cheated by entering something which is not my own design!
Yes, Lisa, it is a Spellbound Kit. It was very straighforward to follow the pattern and reasonably easy, but it was pretty time consuming.

Re: November Challenge
I might give that kit a go then Pru, conquet my fear of seedies!
Right here's mine, it's a bit of tenuous abstract link to fairy tales. It's a Swarovski crystal encapsulated (I love that word)by curved copper washers. I was kinda thinking of Rapunzel trapped in her tower (eh?)

Re: November Challenge
4 WOWS there. Love the earrings. They're so dainty and I think your free-form wire bending is incredibly neat. Well done.
Pru the bracelet is just gorgeous, even if it is a commercial design. Your work is very neat. Love the leaves and berries. Very edible.
Bonnie that lucite necklace is sssssso pretty. I love it. Was it Cinderella where the birds brought her a necklace when she was getting ready for the ball? Cinderella or Snow White one or the other.
And Wow Lisa that's incredible and an imaginative interpretation of the theme. I haven't seen anything like that before. Is it as hard to get that crystal into the folds as it looks?

Re: November Challenge
Loving all of them!! You lot have been hiding away in the woodwork haven't you lol.
Re: November Challenge
And I was beginning to think I'd made it too hard a challenge.
Next months will be interesting lol or should that be muwahaha

Re: November Challenge
Thanks guys. It's very easy. I've put some more pics on my Flickr as the copper washers move around so it can sit in different ways. I've been playing around with curving copper washers and had made a bracelet before and I thought it would be good to hang them so they moved around. When I did it I felt it needed a wee splash of colour in the middle so I tried putting different things in the middle and the crystal looked the best.
