Yes they are peyote stitch, Lisa. I find that they are a very flexible way of covering the ends and then I just top them with a bead and a wrapped loop.

Stitch zapper sounds interesting Tinker. Thanks Pru, I presume it's circular peyote, did someone in B&B do a tutorial on beaded end caps in the dim and distant past, I must have a look, they really finish it all off beautifully.
