cracking bead stitching book

Just to let all you bead stitchers know I saw a gorgeous book in my local library (way beyond my tentative peyote stitch which is all I've managed) with some stunning jewellery in it. It's called Maggie Meister's Classical Elegance 20 Beaded Jewelry Designs.
I so wish my brain could get it's head round stitching!

Sounds interesting. I will have to look out for it. Good idea to look for it in the library.

I can't get my head round much these days, so that's why I use the loom, or is that, that's why I'm a loon!!!
On a seary-arse note, (stay with me here i'm trying, "yes you are Deborah, very trying", those are the words of my sewing teacher ringing in my ears still after, let me see, 30 year, blimey nora battie's tights, 30 years since secondary school. Another teacher, Mr Lewis, combine science, embarrassed me in front of the whole class, but that's one for the memoirs )

Where were we, ah, yes,, Lisa my dearest, try a loom, that's how i make my anklet's.

My sewing teacher used to say the same about me and now I can make handbags and all sorts of sewing malarkay - thanks to my mother-in-law!
Wish I had a loom Debs, but the old husband is going on about the overspending again boo hoo.................
