facebook argh
Hi all,
Anybody good with Facebook? Am puzzled as to why when I posted comments on Beads & Beyond facebook page, the comments come up but my name isn't there. I look like some anonymous lurker. Looked in the help section and can't find any answers as to how I can get my name to come up.

Re: facebook argh
It could be due to your privacy settings. Perhaps you're visible to friends only.
That's the only suggestion I can come up with as I'm pretty pants at FB and am totally reliant on my daughter for info and help cos she's a social media manager and gets paid to post on facebook twitter etc.
When she was young we would go mad at her for spending hours on-line and repeatadly told her it wouldn't do her carreer any good. How wrong we were

Thanks Gillian, checked but it doesn't seem to be that. Someone suggested it could be because I don't have a personal facebook account just a business page.

Re: facebook argh
I cancelled my personal one about a year ago to get rid of a stalker, so now I just have the business one. Not sure whether I should open a personal one again......

I did not know you could do that
Sorry you had a stalker though Lisa. Not comfortable for you.

Re: facebook argh
Its ok Gillian, just a nasty ex I'd rather avoid having a means to contact me.

Re: facebook argh
You can set your privacy settings so that nobody can find you, you have to find them...but never rely on fb privacy settings completely for your posts. The contact one is fine and you can also set it to only friends can message you too but don't post anything you don't want to be seen by anyone - you can block people from seeing certain things but fb will undoubtedly fluff it up
Re: facebook argh
Thanks Tinker, still considering whether to set up a personal one again as having a business one is a pain as I don't seem to be able to like things or put comments on things.
