Anyone know of anywhere in the UK I can get silver washers? I've seen some on US sites. Just want the plain ones not hammered so that I can make a silver version of necklace below.

Take it you are after silver plate - only ones I have ever found that are lead free, low or no nickel are at Big Beads Little Beads and only one size, sorry cant put a link to their site in here 'cause I don't know how to.

Anyone with a decent disc cutter can make them. They're not cheap though, because of the amount of wastage.

The easiest thing is to just make a soldered ring from heavy gauge wire and forge it to flat.

2mm would be fine Smile Just keep it well annealed as you forge.

Or alternatively cut them out with the disk cutter as MizG suggests and use the surplus "hole" as a bead cap. (I'm a sucker for beadcaps).
