Copper foldformed trinket dish
Here's a pic of a little dish I made for my friend's Christmas. It's a foldformed flower with some engraving on it.

Hey, wowsa! Love the fluid shape of the petals. Far too good for trinkets, methinks.
The colour's beautiful. Did you use LOS?

Yes Lesley, used LOS but didn't rub off as much as I usually do and then put the old Renaissance wax on it. Liked the colour but probably will never be able to get another one the same colour lol!

Very clever and effective design. You really have been so busy recently, Lisa.

Thanks Elaine. Am testing it out as a tealight holder at the minute. Realised the domed bit in the middle fits a tealight exactly but am worried the copper would heat up too much, so am doing a little test.

Try a little bit of sand in the bottom if you think it's getting too hot. You can get coloured sand easily too. I used this on our wedding day - I got some nice low-ball glasses and glass painted one of our vows onto it 'All that you are and all you become', wacked a bit of purple sand in the bottom and a tealight, and voila lovely table decs.
Re: Copper foldformed trinket dish
Aw that sounds lovely Tinker! Pleased to report I let the tealight melt completely and the dish didn't seem to heat up at all.
