First attempt at glass fusing Empty First attempt at glass fusing

Not very exciting, but I didn't burn down the kitchen or end up with charred lumps Smile Is it even possible to burn glass? Also didn't realise that the frit would look as though it's on top of everything else - can hardly see the dichroic bits on the ones with frit in. But these are probably useable in spite of all that.

The orange ones look like glowing amber and the greeny ones like mossy rocks. Don't know if that's what you were after but they're fab.

Thank you. I wasn't really aiming at anything in particular, just seeing if I could cut glass without permanent injury and work out from loads of conflicting info just what the firing schedule should be for a full fuse. The next lot I will plan/design more carefully.

Fused glass is a closed book to me and I know nothing about it but those cabs (they are cabs aren't they?) are lovely. As the others have said, glowing amber and little mossy pebbles.
