The commission
I know I've not made this, apart from putting the ends and clasp on the chain and then polishing and the polishing the heart. I thought I'd put up this piece because GETi are brilliant and very helpful. My customer put it together I'll show you his drawing and the end product.
The Font he chose
The image he put together
Finished product
How cool is that?! I shall be doing more business with GETi. The two chaps I spoke to Alan and Richard both friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend them highly enough

Re: The commission
Fantastic Mooch. A great design. And I love that what ever it is you have just behind your camera is reflected in the heart and looks like angel wings. I know that's nothing to do with piece itself, it just looks good in the photo
Re: The commission
It's lovely, had to look again at the photo to see what Gillian meant, And yes it does look a bit like wings.
Re: The commission
What a lovely piece. Who could fail to be delighted by something like that?

Re: The commission
Lovely Mooch I am sure your client will be thrilled. I like Alans (GETi) work very much and his sense of humor.
Re: The commission
Well I was delighted with it when I opened it and it's not for me.
It's gone now, my customer has collected it. Lovely man. I hope his missus loves it.
what you can see on reflection is my glass rods on either side LOL I suppose they do look like wings

Re: The commission
hehe he is funny lol
This is a birthday gift. The lady who this is for, saw me at a craft fair and decided that it should be *I* that would make her present. She said she'd always wanted something to wear everyday with the initials of her children engraved on..top letters, and the bottom letters are hers and her husbands intials with a hidden F in between the J and C, this is their surname. So this is a very personal piece.
This was her idea and her husbands design, which I think is lovely and to me the epitome of jewellery. I love Jewellery with a story and sentiment behind it. I'm a romantic at heart

Re: The commission
It is rather lovely, even though it is not my personal type of style. I especially like the glass rod reflection! I agree It's lovely when there is a story to a piece - when I do a commission, I always write a tag with info about the inspiration of it and a bit about how it was made.
Re: The commission
It is a tale telling piece, which I agree has much worth, and the finish is nothing less than I would expect from you Darlink.
