Studio? You're 'aving a laugh!
I do my metal work in the kitchen and chainmaille on the sitting room floor. It's a major faff putting newspaper down, setting everything up and putting it away, but I suppose my jewellery hygiene is good because I always start with a clean bench. The camera flashed so it's a bit over exposed.

Blimey Lesley, that must be a faff. I don't think I'd ever get any cooking done cos I wouldn't wanna put that bench away. You must be very dedicated Hon.
It's great to see how others work and how best they use their space isn't it? Sometimes you see something which makes you think, "Why didn't I think of setting up something like that?" .

Yeah, clean because it's at the start of a session. There was mop fluff everywhere at the end. I don't do a lot of cooking (his nibs likes doing that) and there's probably more jewellery making than cooking equipment in there now. In fact, the bathroom is now the only jewellery free zone.

Hehe loving Basil Brush, whatever happened to him?
Got the same light as you Lesley! I'm too mortified to photograph my dark and dingy shed, although the spiders and webs would fit in with the October challenge..........

Great workbench set up. I did the same thing when I started but used the unheated conservatory. Not ideal, cold in winter, boiling in summer and so bright I could not see the solder flow.
