Enamelled dish - rescued from disaster
Here's the dish which I dropped and chipped the edge. Judiciously applying more enamel and two more firings rescued it and I'm now quite pleased with it. It's very small, about 65mm diameter.

That dish is SO pretty Elaine. Well done on persevering and pulling off a brilliant repair.

I love that dish. It looks as if it belongs on a coral reef.

Lovely little dish Elaine, first of many I hope. Well done on sticking with it, bet you learnt a lot.

That's lovely Elaine, glad you managed to rescue it, well worth the pain!
Re: Enamelled dish - rescued from disaster
Don't know about many, Lynne, but I am definitely making a few more now. Learning as I go along and trying to work out the best way to support these when enamelling the inside since, if I fire with the inside uppermost, all my stilts cause massive scars on the outside enamel that are very difficult, if not impossible, to remove and leaving the outside enamel until I've done all the layers on the inside makes the copper distort.
