Knobs

Hiya
I've blogged my process for making lampworked cabinet knobs. It was surprisingly easy and I'm delighted with the results so I thought I'd put something together for anyone on the fence about giving this a go. I did it without rollers, and I've found some ebay sellers with the stuff you need so gimme a shout anyone if you fancy giving this a go! Pics of the finished knobs are at the bottom of the post.

Could you branch out into mushrooms from there? Now I wish that I had some drawers or cupboards which need knobs!

Yes absolutely! And it seems like it would be easy enough - off to give it a go in a minute.

These will fit 'normal' furniture, the screw is shown screwed all the way in. I want to use them on the sort of little drawers you get at Ikea and I suspect the ones at boxylady are the same and these screws will be too long, so I've ordered shorter ones and am offering to swap them at checkout on etsy - I wish you could do options on Etsy, would make life so much easier - that and bulk photo upload...

I think they might be some testing for some new features on etsy, I've been using the Treasury button. I'm sure I've seen one for options I'll have a root around. Ahh found it, it's a prototype like the treasury button
