Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying a tumbler for my copper but haven't a clue how they work. If I've patinated my jewellery with LOS, will the colour come off in the tumbler and go shiny copper again? Also I always put Renaissance wax on my jewellery, should I do that before or after the tumbling?
Thanks
Lisa

Love my tumbler Lisa, only got one of those little ones used for tumbling stones but it does the job until I can afford a proper one. Which one did you get?

A good mix of different shaped & sized shot works best.

Lynne, I just got a budget one from www.electrictumblers.co.uk I've started using a lot of brass and can't seem to get it as shiny with polishing as the copper, so I thought I'd take the plunge. It's a kit so it comes with shot, not sure whether it's different sizes, I guess I can always add more to it.
