This is the first two parts of the build you own skeleton thats been in the shops lately, a few crafty friends had the thought of decorating the skull and turning them into bird feeders (the first part didn't have the cranium) I got the 2nd part and discarded the eyes and brain. I painted it and added flowers and gems, it was quite fun, I managed to get hold of some extras so my kids want to decorate some now. Very Happy

I'll be keeping my eye out for other magazines as you never know what you can end up doing with them.

That looks fun. We did a day of the dead project in school last year. The kids were given a blank skull picture and given free rein on how to decorate it. They did some amazing work.

I love the day of the dead masks, so colourful! And it's my birthday too Very Happy

Cornish that's really pretty. Haven't seen them in the shops though - not that I'd have anywhere to put one if I did get one. Will have to just admire yours!
