Cornish, could you knock me up a 170 x 100 logo when you get a chance hon? It's gone a bit wrong on there lol.

You'll probably have to completely change the logo; fitting a 920 x 100 image into 170 x 100 will be a bit tricky 'cos the proportions are very different

Ha guess what I was looking at last week, how to set up an ETSY team. Lol.

I might get time to sort out the logo this week, I was thinking of making a smaller one to use as a blog badge so that will sort that one too.

LOL, I read the rules afterward I'm not sure where we stand, but I've set it up as a 'showcase' for our work - we're not allowed to set up a team to advertise an outside somethingorother - which wasn't the idea - but we have to play by the rules, hope it's not all misconstrued!

I've had a couple of applications from non-forum members though, I've turned them down on the basis that they're not members but invited them to join in. Doesn't take long to rack up 20 posts round here - lol. I hope that sounds reasonable to everyone, I would quite like it to be a good, clean representation of what we're about here... plus with all the work that goes into it all... I dunno, am I hitting the wrong vibe? Gillian, you're good at putting me straight - lol

I saw the invite to the etsy team this afternoon and jumped in there, thanks. I hadn't looked that far into Etsy as I get a bit bamboozled by all the different social media stuff all over the place and so wasn't sure what the "Teams" are.
Tinker I don't think you're hitting the wrong vibe at all. I haven't read the rules over there on Etsy so will keep my fingers crossed for us that it's ok. Tinker and Cornish, I DON'T know where you find the time to do all this. Awesome.

And still the requests are coming in from non-members, I've made it very clear on the sign-up form that they have to be active members. One I'm sure was a spammer because they put their ip address as their user id so they got an out and out decline but I'm suggesting politely that they join. One lady has joined us so that's really nice, haven't heard from the others. I hope it doesn't carry on otherwise I'm going to have to get less polite and just decline everyone!!

So obviously teams are beneficial otherwise there wouldn't be so many requests to join, but I really have not much idea what they're about or what being a member of an Etsy team entails. Can anyone enlighten me?

Sorry Elaine. That's a fat "No" from me. No idea. I'm joining in but am a bit of loose cannon cos I dunno what I'm doing
