This bead is something I have been meaning to have a try at, Patrick from the Sponge Bob cartoon.

Re: new beads
Wow you have been busy and to great effect! You really get a lot of fun and personality into your beads. They are all delicious, but the green tea ones look particularly tasty!

Re: new beads
Ooo,they're lovely fishies Cornish. And the Green Tea beads are really pretty. Patrick is just sssso cute too. You're really clever. I wonder what batty is going to do with him. Will we find out, I wonder?
Re: new beads
Patrick is for a male friend of mine who's name is, you guessed it, Napoleon! ha, that caught you out, he changed his name via deed poll from Patrick to Napoleon, which makes him sound quite strange, but then is that really any wonder coming from me? NO not really.
Anyway, he changed his name back after about, erm, 15 years, as he got married to my sister and didn't want Napoleon Smith on his marriage cert. He works as a computer boff down in Hampshire.
So what ever I do with Partrick it'll have to be a tad macho.

Re: new beads
I didn't realise that either. ha ha ha can't wait to tell my old man that, he loves the cartoon and is a Patrick too.
Re: new beads
As I understand it, it's Spongebob himself although I never asked why. There was a phase where all my gay mates had Spongebob hanging from the rear view mirrors of their cars etc. I suspect it's died out now, much like the 'gay Ear' with piercings etc
Re: new beads
Wooow, Patrick just came in the post, oh err misses! (how crude sorry)
Cornish, he is even better in the flesh! I'm not sure if I can give him away. And all beautiful packaged, he's looking up at me now with his quirky little smile, laying next to Green Tea, thank you darling.
Cornish my nieces call me Aunty Deb the Zeb and when Elly my youngest niece was about 8, (she's now almost 13) she was bought a box of children s beads and threading material, she made me a key ring,, in-fact I may take a picture of it and post it up.
The beads on it read "Zebra", I do so love being associated with them.
