Wirework bods in here!
I have done a little bit of wire work when wrapping my crystals as pendants. I have loads of good books on wire work.

I like wire. Apart from memory wire which hates me, but that is another story.
I wire wrap and play with my jig and other bits now and then. Again..seedies have taken over recently lol

Re: Wirework bods in here!
I do a bit of wirework;wire wrapping and knitting. It can give lovely results.
Only trouble with it is I find I grind my teeth while I wrap. Weird.

I haven't done much wire wrapping, it is on my do list. Saying that I have just bought the Coiling Gizmo this week, which I need to get out of the box and have a play.
Re: Wirework bods in here!
I've not tried coiling. I've been concerned about the close loops epilating the hairs from my neck or wrists.
Does anyone know for certain if this does or doesn't happen?

I've been wire working for years. Wire work is used a lot in floristry it was nice to revisit some of the skills for pleasure instead of hundreds of flowers to make a wired bouquets.
I fancy trying the coiling as well.

Ouch, yes, epilation! Not a good thing!
Unfortunately with coiling it can happen, especially if you have it on a bracelet and have hairs on your arms (which I'm guessing most people do!), also if the coil is on a necklace near the clasp it can pull

Wire working
I love to work with all gages of wire!. I would love to learn more about what to do with it creativity wise. It is amazing the different colors the gages are created. I purchases a wigjig and I have been loving it ever since.

Do you have any pics of your creations you want to show us? It's easier if you have a Flickr account - there is a note on how to post pics as a sticky in the gallery.
