cleaning Rods
Ok People
another question;
"how does one clean glue from rods?".
They normally come with elastic bands, but this time they have tape around them, like the tape that Electricians use?
Should I use white spirit?
Fairy liquid
our Nail varnish remover?

Re: cleaning Rods
Hey are buggers for that aren't they, Tuffers. I use washing up liquid and a scrubby sponge but I make sure the soap is all washed off after.
Re: cleaning Rods
any of those will do - a lot of people pop them in the dishwasher and then give them a wipe down afterwards to remove any rinse-aid residue.
I'm a fan of the 'quick swpie under the armpit of my t-shirt' school of cleaning.

Re: cleaning Rods
Lol - I'm an armpit wiper too after Julie admitted to it! But I don't have a dishwasher, no room in the shoebox for mod cons
Re: cleaning Rods
Not thought about popping the glass in the dishwasher, great tip.
I forgot to armpit a clear rod the other day, I won't be making that mistake again.
