Websites
I did Kathrynnewman.co.uk the hard way and will be transferring it to something more sensible soon. I wrote it in Frontpage and was paying about £30 a year for hosting.
Beadsbykat.co.uk is hosted by one.com and for an introductory price of about £10 I got the domain, hosting, and web building software, as well as a gallery and a blog and a raft of other things I haven't looked at. It was fairly easy to set up, adding in the paypal buttons was a little less straightforward as you have to do it via the code.
In terms of shop, I just create paypal buttons within my paypal account which is free to do, and insert the code.
Other sites similar to this are mr site and I'll update when I think of more

Re: Websites
Meadmoon.com is with MrSite and it seems expensive compared to what others are paying, but all the shop code is done for you.
Mind you, I find it a bit inflexible using the standard interface; in particular, it is difficult to keep the images directory tidy and it uploads a new copy every time rather than using the one which already exists. I want to re-organise the shop, but am put off by the thought of creating a new load of unused image files with no easy way (actually I haven't found *any* way yet) of deleting them and thus wasting a whole load of space.

Re: Websites
Im with Mrsite too but only because I'm a complete technophobe and could just about manage to set it up with them. I find I have a problem with the shop page though, it seems to have some sort of bug if I try to add new items and I have to use mozilla firefox instead of explorer or it won't work.

Re: Websites
I have two mrsite versions a basic and a standard. They are ok and it does take out some of the hard work, but it can be annoying flawed at times to.
The basic is for the beads and I paid a bit extra for having both .com & co.uk, which in my mind is worth doing.
Mead I have deleted photos off mrsite it's not easy, I'll try & remember how I did it.
