Peanut bead bracelet

I love unusual shaped beads, but I often find them hard to use. However, I was quite pleased with the effect of peanut beads with kumihimo. The clasp is designed for leather and the ends are rather shallow, so the butterflies are not just decorative, they hide the binding on the end of the braid.

That is an unusual clasp Pru. I do not think I have ever seen one of your creations that I did not like.
You must write that book. It will be a winner.

Oh Pru! That's awesome. Such an unusual design and it oozes quality. The beads and clasp go together so well and set each other off perfectly. Did you make the clasp Pru or purchase it? If so where from? I haven't seen anything like it before.

Thanks Gillian. I got the clasp from Beads Direct. It is designed for leather thong from a range called Regaliz. The butterflies are separate charms.

Yes definitely, I want to buy it!!! Succumbed to temptation and bought the Metallic Seed Bead Splendour book by Nancy Zeller, wish Amazon would hurry up and send it.
