Lake District designs in fused glass
It's almost exactly the mid-point of the year between my last and next Lake District holidays and I'm getting twitchy so have been doing a few more "Lake District Inspired" items in the kiln. Here are some of them... Does this count as a "hog" or is that only for lampworking?

Elaine, these are all lovely, really lovely. I particularly like 10 and 15. If that's a hog, I would say keep it up!

Wow how on earth did you do that little fence? Amazing!

Re: Lake District designs in fused glass
Hi Lisa, The fences were done with a combination of black stringer and black Glassline paint (with a fine nozzle). The wall is green Glassline paper overpainted with cream Glassline paint.

15 is my favourite.
i love the people of Cumbria, especially West Cumbria, but do not like their weather, which is why I escaped to the Isle of Wight in 1967.

These are lovely Elaine! My uncle caravans there at Christmas I must find out where and see if any of your creations fit!
Re: Lake District designs in fused glass
For those who want to try and fit the scenes to real places
10 is Tarn Hows; 12 is the Langdale Pikes from Blea Tarn; 13 & 15 are more abstract and not actual locations.

Oh Elaine! These are LOVELY. I particularly like the last 2. I love the Lakes and we used to holiday there every year.
How big are they and are they listed in your shop?

Thank you for all the lovely comments.
Gillian, Yes, 13 & 15 are in my Etsy shop with some others. They are approx. 140 x 85 x 20mm. Sometimes I wish for a bigger kiln! But then again, it takes me yonks to position all the bits of confetti on the small size, so I hate to think how much longer it would take me to make a larger size.
