aluminium rings
Here's a couple of rings. Apologies I've been wearing the swirly one for a couple of weeks so it's a bit scratched.

Re: aluminium rings
I love the design of these. Are they soldered or are they adjustable? I am not surprise you have been wearing the swirly one. It is my favourite too.

Re: aluminium rings
Talk about great minds thinking alike, I made two very similar rings (only in silver) a couple of weeks ago as well.
Love the swirly one!

They are great, swirly one for me, prefer the tail tucked inside.
Never worked with aluminium, the recommendation that you need to have separate tools to those that you use with silver puts me off a bit.

Thats spooky Elaine!
They are adjustable Pru, not soldered and comfy to wear.
It's based on a design in a book I got from my sister, which is very good "Beautiful Rings" by Marthe Le Van. Hers has the smaller bit on top but I think I prefer it the other way round. It's got some great rings in it.

Fabulous! I've never worked with Aluminium. I'm seeing this all over the place in jewellery shops, fairs etc. Is it easy to work with? x

Re: aluminium rings
Very easy Mooch, it feels like plastic to cut but is quite coarse to file. Tried reticulation but it just melted and curled up.
