it's a whopper!

In amongst the boring stuff, I had a lovely commission to set the biggest cab (by Moogin Mindy) I've ever seen!
Cab is over 50mm across, and the finished pendant measures just over 60mm diameter. Hope she likes it now Smile

Wow that is a whoppa but as always it looks stunning, reminds me of a field of poppies.

Would the technique for setting something that big be the same as say an 8mm cab?

Pretty much the same - though getting ends of bezel strip and framing wire to stay together for soldering when they're over 15cm long is tricky. The biggest problem is getting the base plate (which is pretty hefty) hot enough without melting anything else!
