Bugs, Girls and Skins.

Post  Cornish on Mon May 14, 2012 1:34 pm

Had a bit of a bad weekend so I went out to the torch and had a great playtime, so sorry for a bit of a hog.
Made some bug beads including a very rare Cow bug. Very Happy these I've popped into my Beads of Courage pot

They are all so cute. Love the birds, cos I am a bot of an Amgry Birds addict. The moddle fairy looks like one of those Japenese dolls and I adore the tiger beads.
I had a pathetic weekend, only got an hour in the studio on Saturday afternoon and produced one wire wrapped clasp.

Thanks for the lovely comments.

Batty I make some beads for the Beads Of Courage and pop them in a pot until I have a nice collection to send them. Easiest way to explain it is via the BOC website, they use the beads for milestones in the children's treatments.

These are brilliant Cornish youre really doing your PPP time arent you!!

Beads of courage, for any lampworkers who dont know about it is an excellent place to send your orphan and not quite perfect beads. Send them good ones too but I was pleased to hear from Jo (Jolene) that they are grateful for anythjng you send so long as the holes are properly puckered. She actually said they like the uglier the better! Lol.

So many great beads. I LOVE the reptilian ones with spots and adore the little fairies. Not a great lover of character beads usually but I could be severely tempted by one of those. Beautiful.

What a great range of styles. My particular favourites are the lentils.
