Lentils Empty Lentils

Post  Cornish Tue Apr 17, 2012 11:15 pm

I've been playing with the lentil press and thought I would show off these. I made some wire links to go with the bracelet, the knot ones near the clasp I like the most. The big lentil I'm not happy with the dragonfly, something I need to work on more.

They are brilliant Cornish! Love the dragonfly idea - I recon if you had done 4 wings youd have been happier with it but I love all the detail on that bead.

Do like the lentils on the bracelet very much - think the knot links are called Danish Knots in the chain maille world.

Loving those pink lentils and the knot links. the dragonfly is a gorgeous colour but think he needed four long thin wings.. I would have been chuffed if I could have made one half as good.

Thank you, it was the wings I wasn't happy with, they didn't do what I wanted. Very Happy

Batty the pink lentils I etched them and the dragonfly body is Elekta DH, bit of a tricky one to strike / reduce you need a cool reducing flame.

It's the smallest from the trio (beadpress.nl) about 2 cm I think. And thank you. Xx

I think your focal bead is gorgeous. Wish you hadn't told me it was a dragonfly cos I'd have just thought it was floral decoration if you hadn't. It looks really oriental and pretty.

The bracelet is lovely too. I love the swirly lentils.
